The Executive Digital Forum
On 24 June NetBooster organised the Executive Digital Forum in The Capital Club in Dubai together with Michael Page.
The Forum aimed to provide senior members of the Middle East management community, insights and trends into the next phase in Digital. The Forum gathered leaders from key players in Digital in the Middle East region to get into panel discussions, including NetBooster, Michael Page, Emirates Airline, Dubai Tourism, Souq.com, Astrolabs, Namshi, Google and Facebook.
Digital is transitioning into the Next Phase where it has – also in the Middle East – grown from a communication and branding platform to a business and sales channel affecting each organisation’s bottom line results. Digital is playing an ever bigger part in every customer’s daily life in the Middle East, transforming Digital into a channel where sales are done. Senior Executives therefore need to adopt Digital into their sales channels and need to adapt Digital Marketing for Performance so Digital works for their bottom line.
The panel discussion on the Forum focussed on the large role of mobile because of tremendous smartphone adoption rates in the Middle East; how social networks drive use of digital in the region; the current shift to ecommerce and what the traditional brick-and-mortar retailers in the Middle East need to do to make sure they are profiting as well from the shift to online sales and much more. The whole event was aired live on Dubai Eye 103.8 radio (go to www.dubaieye1038.com/executive-digital-forum for podcasts of the Forum)
NetBooster and Michael Page organised the Executive Digital Forum as they are the ideal partners for each organisation to guide through the transition to the Next Phase in Digital, working on Digital Strategy, Organisation, Staffing, Marketing and more.
