group at the TargoBank Run
The arrangements for the most companies-run in the Ruhr area are moving into high gear. On August 26th, 2010 about 6000 runners get together in order to run the „Duisburg TARGOBANK Run“.
Several people who are familiar with the run know it under the old name Citi Run, with the renaming of the CitiBank in TargoBank a new name was in need.
In 2005 the first of the by now very favorite run event started in the city of Duisburg. Next to the sportive fun and the sportive team spirit, the social engagement always stays in the foreground, too: one part of the entry fee will be donated and invested in social projects of the city Duisburg, with these indigent children will be aided. Since the beginning of the Run 2005 about 110.000 € have been collected and were used for the benefit of a good cause.
This year metapeople and metaapes will attend with a selection of run excited employees at the TargoBank Run. The biggest companies run of the Ruhr area will start at 19.00 o’clock near the opera place. For the first time, this year a new Opel Corsa will be raffled amongst all start attendees! The raffle takes place at the end of the event after the fireworks, which herald the end of the event.
